Nursing Home Project 2009
I started a new page for the new year. I probably won’t get as many made this year as I’d like to since I’ll have to start doing something to help make a little extra money for around here but I plan to still work on this.
I’m starting the year with finishing the last of the squares from the Charity Blitz on Crochetville. I have enough for 1 1/2 lapghans so I will finish assembling the one with reds and pinks and then start making squares from the 99 granny squares to crochet book and make them into lapghans. I also still plan to make some other smaller versions of afghans that I’ve seen and want to do.
March 2009
The last of the charity blitz squares have finally been made into a lapghan for the nursing home. The squares are wonderful as usual when coming from the ladies at Crochetville!

July 2009
I’m not doing to good on getting many done this year. I did finish this Kaliediscope lapghan. I have some other squares I’ve been making that are about ready to put together at least 2 more lapghans. I hope to get to work on them soon.

I have an afghan that I would like to donate to your nursing home project. I live in Macon, Ga and have crochet all my life. I just love making things and would love to find a good cause to donate them. Please email me back and I will can send pictures (don’t see a way to attach them here).
Thanks,
Anne
