Stained Glass Window Afghan

Wow I LOVE this pattern! I’m making this for my Husbands GodMother. I think I will have to make one to enter in the fair someday too. This is the Stained Glass Window Afghan in the book 50 Sensational crochet afghans and throws.

This is a GREAT book. I’ve got a lot of patterns bookmarked in it so I’ve got to get to work on it.

I’ve got 2 squares on this done and joined. I have to do some work on some stuff for my Secret Pal Swap on the ‘Ville then I’ll get to go back to work on the stained glass blocks.

I’ve also got my Tunisian block done for February in the Tunisian block a month CAL in Ravelry.

I can’t wait to get all these blocks done I think this is going to be a nice, warm and BIG afghan. I think I’ll border all the squares in a Linen color. I’m using “I Love this yarn” on it.

The last 2 weeks I’ve been working on squares for people.

-I got my 6 inch squares done and mailed for the Secret Pal swap. They are using our squares to make some afghans for a charity and then the left over squares are going to be made into totes for little prizes to the swapers.

-I got my comfortghan square for a fellower ‘Viller that has been undergoing treatment for Cancer.

-I got my 2 squares done for another comfortghan.

-I got the last of my 8 Warm up America (WUA) rectangles done for the ‘Ville contest. Caron is giving a top prize to who ever turns in the most rectangles for WUA done in any Caron yarn so they set up a CAL for sending in blocks to help C’Ville win the top prize.

-I got my 2 Charity Blitz drum lapghans mailed out finally.

-I got a small package on it’s way to my known swap partner.

-I got one project done for my Swap partner but I can’t show it off yet since it’s a secret and I don’t know if she is searching to find out who her secret pal is. 🙂

Whew when I look at it like that it looks like I got a lot done. I just felt like I was spinning my wheels.
